Enbridge Gas Donates $5,000 to Hamilton Township for Safe Community Project Assist

Representatives from Hamilton Township including Mayor Scott Jibb and Fire Chief Mike Robinson accept a cheque from Enbridge Gas in the amount of $5,000.

Safe Community Project Assist provides selected fire departments in the Enbridge Gas In. service area with funding for purchasing firefighting and carbon monoxide training materials.  Since its inspection in 2012, Enbridge Gas has generously contributed over $1.7 million to this campaign.

As a recipient of this year’s Safe Community Project Assist campaign, Hamilton Township Fire Department received a cheque for $5,000 credit at the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council’s Distribution Centre to purchase firefighting and carbon monoxide training materials.
