Hamilton Township 2024 Draft Budget Schedule

Camborne, ON – On Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 10:00am, the Township of Hamilton Council and staff will be reviewing the 2024 Draft Budget at a Special Council Meeting dedicated to the budget.

Council and staff have been developing the 2024 Budget since Summer 2023. During this preparation time, a public budget survey was issued through the Township’s Community Engagement webpage. Public comments and feedback were received and considered during the creation of the 2024 Budget.

The 2024 Draft Operating Budget proposes a 5.6% tax levy increase. Factoring in assessment growth of 1.1% from 2023 as provided by the Municipal Assessment Corporation (MPAC), the net levy increase for 2024 is 4.5%.

Council will be reviewing the draft budget in two sittings at the Municipal Office in Camborne.
