In Local

An informal conversation with three members of Cobourg Council was held on Tuesday, November 6, 2023 at Lalies and The Dutch in downtown Cobourg.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Deputy Mayor Nicole Beatty, along with Councillors Adam Bureau and Aaron Burchat met with members of the public and to hear their concerns.

Approximately 30 members of the public turned out for the informal event.

“People came with it with good questions but a lot of actionable recommendations which we will take to council,” said Beatty.

Among the topics covered were communication, encampment and intergovernmental collaboration.
