Cobourg Police – Campbellford Woman Charged with Fail to Comply, Two Counts of Possession of Cocaine and Fentanyl and Mischief (No Name Released)

A 34-year-old Campbellford woman faces charges after police respond to a suspicious person call.

On Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, at approximately 11:40 p.m., police attended the area of the Northam Industrial Park for a report of a suspicious person. Officers attended and located a female matching the description provided.

Police investigation revealed the female was on conditions with a curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. She was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of a quantity of various controlled substances.

As a result of the police investigation, a 34-year-old Campbellford woman was charged with failure to comply with Undertaking, Failure to comply with Probation Order, two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance (Cocaine and Fentanyl), and mischief.

The accused was held in custody pending a Show Cause Hearing on Thursday, October 5th, 2023
