Quinte West OPP – Drug Trafficking Charges Against Brighton Man (Name Released)

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a person with the trafficking of opioids.

On September 10, 2023, at approximately 4:00 a.m., officers were patrolling Sidney Street, Quinte West, when they observed two suspicious persons enter a business. One person was arrested on outstanding warrants while the second left the area. A short time later officers located a substantial quantity of suspecte d Fentanyl, that was abandoned inside the business. An investigation led to the second person being arrest a short time later.

Ryan SEGUIN, 44 years old, from Brighton has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
