Extensive Search After Motorcycle Collision in Port Hope

Police are still looking for the driver of a motorcycle after a serious collision in the Municipality of Port Hope on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

At approximately 8 a.m. on Saturday, emergency services responded to the area of County Road 10 and the 7th Line for a motorcycle collision.

A motorcycle sustained heavy damage after entering the ditch. When emergency crews arrived, there was a helmet, but no one was around the motorcycle.

The area was cordoned off while a OPP canine unit was also called in to search for any victims. After an extensive search no one was found and the roadway was re-opened.

The investigation is continuing.
