Cobourg Police – Assault With A Weapon (No Name Released)

A Cobourg resident is facing charges after police responded to a family dispute on Saturday morning.

On Saturday, August 5, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m., police responded to a family dispute at an apartment in Cobourg, where a knife was involved. No physical injuries were reported.
As a result of the police investigation, a 21-year-old Cobourg man was charged with assault with a weapon and fail to comply with a release order.

The accused was held in custody pending a show cause hearing and remanded into custody.
