Four Vehicle Collison on Highway 401 Sends One to Hospital

At least one person was taken to hospital following a four vehicle rear-end collision on Highway 401 east of Colborne on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 401, east of Colborne were closed due to a collision and traffic was stopped when one vehicle slammed into a pickup, causing the pickup to collide with another and that vehicle collided with another in front of it at approximately 11 p.m.

At least one person was taken to hospital, while numerous other people were assessed by paramedics.

The investigation is continuing.
