Cobourg Police – Investigating Sudden Death

Police presence at Division Street and Swayne Street

On July 10, 2023, police were called to a residence near Division Street and Swayne Street regarding a medical complaint. One individual was transported to the hospital and pronounced
deceased.

Members of the Cobourg Police Service remain on scene investigating the circumstances of death with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner. The Cobourg Police confirm there is no risk to public safety.
