Community Care Northumberland announces that the community has come through again at their annual Caring Fore Our Community Golf Tournament, raising an impressive $22,461 in support of the agency’s many services.

This list would be a long and comprehensive one, including such essential services as nutrition, transportation, wellness and in-home assistance to seniors, adults with disabilities, individuals recovering from illness or injury, as well as to hospice clients and their loved ones and caregivers – programming that empowers individuals to maintain their independence within the comfort of their own homes and communities.

This Caring Fore Our Community tournament serves as a crucial fundraising initiative for this work to improve the health and well-being of Northumberland residents. The generous support of sponsors, participants and volunteers ensures CCN can continue its mission of enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need.

The press release spotlighted the contributions of the Title Sponsor, Your TV Cogeco Northumberland, for their role in ensuring “a flawless experience for all involved.”

“CCN is immensely grateful for the tremendous support we received during the Caring Fore Our Community Golf Tournament,” CCN Chief Executive Officer Trish Baird said.

“The funds raised will go directly towards sustaining and expanding our programs and services, allowing us to continue making a significant difference in the lives of individuals throughout Northumberland County. We are honoured to serve our community, and extend our deepest thanks to everyone who played a part in this remarkable event.”

CCN boasts offices across the county, as well as a team of highly qualified staff and dedicated volunteers, the press release said.

“By prioritizing the creation, co-ordination and delivery of relevant community-based programs, CCN is committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals across Northumberland County.”
