Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Theft (No Name Released)

On Sunday, June 11, 2023, police were called to a business in the Strathy Road and Depalma Drive area of Cobourg.

The complainant informed police that a suspect was currently in the store who had previously stolen a large quantity of cosmetics.

Police attended and as a result of the investigation, arrested a 34-year-old Cobourg female. The female was charged with the following offences:

1. Theft Under $5000: Contrary to Section 334 Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)

2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime: Contrary to Section 354(1)(a) CCC

The accused was released with a future court date.
