Northumberland County Continues to Work With Building Owner Regarding Illegal Dumping in Downtown Cobourg

Northumberland County has stated they will continue to work with the building owner at 1 King Street East to address instances of illegal dumping at this location.

“This issue is fully on our radar, and our Waste Services team is exploring additional measures to discourage and curb this illegal activity,” stated Northumberland County Communications Director Kate Campbell.

County staff regularly pick up discarded garbage at the location through  the week including on Monday, June 5, 2023.
