Northumberland County’s Working Relationship With Building Owner Helps Solve Garbage Problem

In Local

A working relationship with Northumberland County and a building owner has solved a garbage problem in downtown Cobourg.

Kate Campbell, Director of Communications with Northumberland County said the Waste Services team is aware of garbage being left out or not tagged properly in front of 1 King Street East in Cobourg.

“The County is aware of materials periodically being placed out at this location and has established excellent working relationships with the building owner and property manager to resolve these issues. Whenever this situation arises, the County reaches out, and the property manager responds and removes the items within a day of receiving notification.”
