Snowy Start to the Weekend

In Editor Choice, Weather

It was a thundering start to the weekend on Friday, March 3, 2023 in the Cobourg area.

The storm arrived around 9 p.m. along with the winds, then came the thunder and lightning.

Along Highway 401 the plows/sanders were doing the best they could to clear a path for drivers, but most people hit seemed did stay off the roads.

With the weather hovering around the freezing mark, it’s a wet snow, and might be heavy for shoveling come Saturday morning.
