Cobourg Divisional Budget Meeting to Begin At New Time

The Town of Cobourg would like to advise all residents that the Division Budget Meeting #2, scheduled for Thursday, January 26 will begin at an earlier time of 11am.

Due to the inclement weather experienced this evening, and additional time required to complete today’s Budget Meeting Agenda, Council moved to adjourn todays meeting to ensure safe travels for all persons in attendance. To provide enough time to complete the remainder of today’s agenda as well as the day two agenda items, the Divisional Budget Meeting #2, scheduled for Thursday, January 26 will begin at a new time of 11am. The agenda will begin with the presentation of the Public Works draft budget presentation.

Draft Budget Released The draft budget is released on the municipal website and on Engage Cobourg for public review and comment.

W/O January 30

Special Council Budget Session The draft budget is reviewed in its entirety by Council.

February 7 (February 9 if needed)

10 a.m.

Final Budget Approval The Draft 2023 Municipal Operating & Capital Budget is submitted for final approval by Council.
