Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Theft, Two Counts Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

On Friday, December 30, 2022, police received a call from a resident to report a food delivery had been stolen off the front porch of the residence.

Police reviewed video surveillance footage and identified the individual.

As a result of the police investigation, a 28-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with the following offences:

1) Theft Under $5,000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code

2) Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code

The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date of February 8, 2023.
