Rider Airlifted to Toronto Trauma Centre Following Motorcycle Collision in Alnwick/Haldimand Township

A woman was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre following a motorcycle collision on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. emergency services were notified of a motorcycle collision on Shelter Valley Road just north of Telephone Road, east of Grafton in Alnwick/Haldimand Township.

A group of motorcycles were travelling together when one motorcycle went off the round as it was rounding a bend.

The two riders were thrown from the motorcycle and both were taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital.

One rider was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.

The roadway was closed while OPP conducted their investigation.
