Death of Inmate from Warkworth Institution

On August 26, 2022, Clifford Gale, an inmate from Warkworth Institution, died while in custody following an illness.

At the time of death, the inmate had been serving an indeterminate sentence for second degree murder, which commenced on October 27, 2010.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) policy requires that the coroner be notified.
