Two People Taken to Hospital Following Collision at Comfort Inn in Cobourg

Two people were taken to hospital following a collision at the Comfort Inn in Cobourg on Monday, August 22, 2022.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to the Comfort Inn parking lot on Densmore Road for a collision.

A vehicle with two occupants is believed to have struck the building, then a parked vehicle, then accelerated over the curb and into a ditch.

A woman in her 70’s and man in his 80’s were taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

There was visible damage to the building and the vehicle that was struck.

The investigation is continuing.
