Cobourg Announces Civic Holiday Closures

With the Civic Holiday coming up Monday, Aug. 1, the Town of Cobourg announces the closure that day of municipal offices and buildings – a list that includes Victoria Hall, the Cobourg Community Centre, Cobourg Public Library, Public Works Building 7 and the Venture 13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre.

The announcement added that Cobourg Transit will run during its regular hours of operation on the Civic Holiday.

Leading up to Monday, the 54th annual Sidewalk Sale continues through Saturday, July 30, running 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily on King and Second streets with merchants, restaurants, family entertainment, live music, vendors, food trucks and more. Please remember that Second Street is closed, as is King between Hibernia and Division.

The Town of Cobourg also reminds everyone that there are plenty more special events coming up for the second half of the summer, including Tuesday-night concerts (7:30 to 9 p.m.) by the Concert Band of Cobourg in the Victoria Park bandshell.
