Northumberland OPP Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision in Alnwick Haldimand Township

Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that currently has County Rd 2 at Shelter Valley Rd closed for investigation.

On Saturday July 2, 2022 at 12:18 p.m., the Northumberland OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on County Rd 2 and Shelter Valley Rd in Alnwick Haldimand. The collision involved a car and an e-bike. As a result of the collision, the driver of the e-bike was transported to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

County Rd 2 and Shelter Valley Rd will remain closed for several hours while OPP Technical Collision Investigators conduct their investigation.
