Funds Donated Locally Reach Their Destination

In Editor Choice, Local

Yvonne Kay has heard from her friend Dr. Maria Marszal, who is currently providing care and aid to Ukrainian refugees in several locations in Poland.

Thanks to the generous donations of the local community, she was able to provide much-needed supplies for this humanitarian effort, and both she and Kay thank everyone for opening their hearts “and for being Canadians.”

Though Dr. Marszal will be returning to Cobourg at the end of the month, Kay looks forward to doing her part in Poland in another few weeks.
