Cleaning Up After A Long Winter in Port Hope

In Community, Local, Photo Gallery

A group of Port Hope residents got together on Sunday, March 27, 2022 to clean-up garbage along the lakeshore.

The group met at Queenies Bake Shop at 1 p.m. as owner Adam Pearson organized the event.

The area that was clean-up was along the Waterfront Trail along the lakeshore area.

“Basically throughout the winter when the snow piles up, you get little bits of garbage and it sits there. Now that the snow has melted, we’ve got some garbage on the trail to clean-up. We’re doing our Spring cleaning.”

Pearson credits the amazing people of Port Hope who come out to help clean their community.
