Minor Injuries After Two-Vehicle Collision in Cobourg

The drivers of two vehicles were taken to hospital with minor injuries following a collision in Cobourg on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Shortly before 4 p.m. Cobourg Police and Northumberland County Paramedics were dispatched to the area of King Street East and Brook Road South for a two-vehicle collision.

A van travelling westbound had slowed or stopped on King Street East and Brook Road South when it was struck from behind by a white pickup truck.

The van ended up on the south sidewalk.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving.
