Stars Fall to Renegades in Greater Metro Jr. A Hockey League Action at the Keeler Centre

Undisciplined penalties likely cost the Northumberland Stars the game on Family Day at the Keeler Centre as they battled against the North York Renegades.

Solid goaltending by Stars netminder Ryan Bray as he faced a barrage of 54 shots during the game.

Goals scored by the Stars were

6:10 of the first period by Sheldon Purchase and assisted by Logan Haug and Liam Boyle.

17:03 of the first period on the power play scored by Jayden Cumming with assists by Shayne Pearsall, and Connor O’Shea.

In the second period Stars scored at 8:20 by Eric Kofman with assists by Adam Ostapiak and Bo, Stevenson.

At 11:29 of the second Shayne Pearsall scored short handed with assists by Eric Kofman and Bo Stevenson.

The final goal for the Stars came at 9:42 of the third period with Eric Kofman getting the goal and assisting were Jayden Cumming and Adam Ostapiak.

Stars had a total of 40-minutes in penalties for the game company to 27-minutes for the Renegades

The final score of the game was 7-5.
