In City Hall, Hockey

Provincial reopening regulations mean the Cobourg Community Centre doors are open again, Councillor Emily Chorley announced at Monday’s council meeting.

This means adult shinny and public skating are back, not to mention the Cobourg Cougars returning to home ice Feb. 5 at 3 p.m., with Cobourg Mayor John Henderson invited to drop the puck at the televised game.

“Please remember to bring your QR code vaccine certificate and valid ID to access activities – and that applies to anyone 12 years of age and older,” Chorley said.

The councillor added that the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit COVID-19 vaccination clinic is still operating in part of the CCC, so impacts to programming may happen.
