Quinte West OPP – Two People Charged Following Search Warrant

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two people following the execution of a search warrant in Trenton.

On November 18, 2021 at approximately 5:30 a.m.., the OPP Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) of Quinte West and Central Hastings, assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant of an apartment unit on Adrian Court. As a r esult of the search, two people were arrested. A quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine with a street value of approximately $9000, along with cash and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Adam FRIVALT, 30 years old and Rachelle HAZELTON, 29 years old both of Quinte West have been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine;
  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl; and
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

Additionally, FRIVALT has been charged with failing to comply with his probation order. He was held for bail and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on November 18, 2021.

HAZELTON was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on December 20, 2021.
