Lions Club of Cobourg “Trunk or Treat” Huge Success

In Local

The Lions Club of Cobourg held a Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the location on Elgin Street East.

The event ran from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and along with a number of Lions members participating, members of the Cobourg Fire Department and Cobourg Police Service were also delighted to be on hand.

Children went around trick or treating to each vehicle parked behind the Lions Community Centre.

Lions President Vicki Davis said she estimated at least 500 children took part in the event that will become an annual event.

“Everyone seems to be having a wonderful time and it’s about time we can do this – it’s great.”
