DBIA Welcomes New Administrator

Downtown Cobourg DBIA is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Annibalini, as Administrator beginning October 25, 2021.


Deborah is an engaging and service-driven administrator with a track record of successfully managing priorities and resources for Business Improvement Areas at Fairbank Village and Corso Italia in the Greater Toronto Area.

After a comprehensive search of qualified candidates, Deborah was recognized as an experienced administrator committed to upholding a high standard of professionalism and determined to contribute to the members of the Cobourg DBIA.


Deborah is experienced in accounting, event management, budget preparation, written and verbal communications, brand ambassadorship, customer service, volunteer team leadership and regulatory compliance.


“The DBIA Board of Management is very excited to welcome Deborah to our team here in Downtown Cobourg”, said Erika Cotton, Chair of the Board. “Deborah has many skills and experience that will be very beneficial to our members as we move into this post- pandemic period and help re-build and market our businesses and services downtown as a place to visit, shop and support.”


As the new DBIA Administrator, Deborah will maintain and update the business member’s database and directory, prepare budgets, schedule meetings and prepare agendas with the Board Chair. Other duties include: updating the DBIA website on a regular schedule and facilitating social media and e-mail marketing activities; preparing and distributing member correspondences as directed by the Board and regular communications with DBIA members via site visits throughout the year.


Deborah will monitor all streetscape programs and permits as directed by the Board and monitor public works and related activities (sidewalk repairs, Hydro infrastructure for event projects) or other physical repairs/improvements in the DBIA area, and work with the Town of Cobourg office to implement elements of the DBIA’s streetscape plan for events.

Promotional Activities will include: coordination of community events as directed by the DBIA Board as well as administering and leading all DBIA events and programs through social media and regular advertising (print, radio, posters and flyers).


Deborah will be working in the DBIA office at 201 Second Street (Market Building) in Downtown Cobourg. Members and visitors are asked to please call ahead for appointments at 905-377-8024 and adhere to all COVID-19 regulations.
