COVID-19 Outbreak Declared Over at Palisade Gardens in Cobourg

The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit has declared the COVID-19 outbreak at Palisade Gardens and James Club over as of October 21, 2021.

General Manager, Palisade Gardens and James Club Retirement Residences, Micki McLean issued a letter to residents, families and staff stating, “we’re very happy to inform you that Northumberland, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Public Health has declared the COVID-19 outbreak at Palisade Gardens and James Club over, effective
today. We’re also happy to report that all 3 staff members who tested positive are now fully recovered.”

“Fully vaccinated visitors are now permitted in the building with screening protocols in place. All activities, both indoor and out, will resume as of today and the dining room is now open for meals.”

McLean added, “everyone at Palisade Gardens and James Club will continue following all health and safety
measures, including regular self-assessment for symptoms, masking, enhanced sanitation and physical distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our home and in the community.”
