Cobourg Police – SIU Investigating After Person Injured in Domestic Dispute

On Sunday, October 17, police were dispatched to a residence in the west end of Cobourg for a report of a domestic dispute. As a result of the police interaction with one of the involved people, personal injuries were sustained.

The Cobourg Police Service has notified the province’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the incident and the
SIU has invoked its mandate.

As such, Cobourg Police Service is unable to provide any further information. Any further inquiries should be
directed to the SIU Communications.
