Behan Construction Breaks Ground on Brighton Site

In Business, Local

A very well-known local construction company in the Northumberland and Quinte Region has broken ground on a secondary site in the Brighton Industrial Park located on Sharp Road.

Behan Construction is expanding from their Hamilton Township location and building a secondary location in Brighton. This location will house a small office, shop bays for storage and equipment maintenance and outdoor space for storage of equipment and supplies. President of Behan Construction Limited, Tom Behan is looking forward to the
new location, “We’re happy to be here in Brighton. It’s a great community and we look forward to a bright future working along with the community. We expect there will be a lot of new development work in Brighton, and we want to be part of that, so we want to establish a base here.”

The Municipality of Brighton is continuing to welcome businesses to its industrial park, Mayor Brian Ostrander is grateful that Behan chose Brighton, “The Municipality is excited by the investment of Behan Construction, developing an eastward focused site for their business right here in Brighton. Brighton has been the benefactor of these professionals for years. They have provided road and water works repair, maintenance and redevelopment for the municipality and have done so with a community focus. We wish Behan all the best success with this expansion to our
community!”
