Port Hope Police – Utter Threats and Aggravated Assault Charges

 On Wednesday morning September 29, around 5:13 am Police Hope Police were called to a domestic related incident.

Officers learned from the female party her common-law partner was upset over the two month old baby crying and as a result threw a pillow over the small child.  

The mother woke to muffled cries and when dialed 911 her partner assaulted her and  threatened to kill for calling police on him.

The male took off from the residence prior to police arrival.

Police later arrested the accused and released him on an officer in charge undertaking.

The accused has been charged with aggravated assault, assault and uttering a death threat.

The name of the accused is not being released to  protect the victims.
