Cobourg Police – Man Arrested on Warrant

On Thursday, September 30, 2021, police received a call for two suspicious persons in the area of the Cobourg
marina.

As a result of police investigation, 37-year-old Wayne LANGLEY was arrested on the strength of two
unendorsed warrants and charged with the following offences:

1) Fail to Comply with Undertaking contrary to section 145 of the Criminal Code x2

2) Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance – Fentanyl – contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs
and Substances Act

LANGLEY was held in custody pending a bail hearing on October 1, 2021.
