Update – Condition of Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle Upgraded to Non-Life Threatening Injuries

Cobourg Police have given an update on collision involving a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle on Ontario Street north of Elgin Street on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Police say the pedestrians condition has been upgraded to non-life threatening.

Three people in the vehicle were taken to hospital. One child suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Ontario Street in the area of the collision was re-opened at approximately 11:45 p.m.

A German Shepherd named Max that was in the vehicle has still not been found.

The investigation is continuing.
