Infant Taken To Hospital With Minor Injuries Following Collision in Cobourg

At least two people including an infant were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Cobourg on August 18, 2021.

Cobourg Police say a vehicle was exiting a business on Elgin Street East when a eastbound vehicle collided with the front end at approximately 3:45 p.m.

An adult and infant from the vehicle heading eastbound were taken to hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

Cobourg Police said the driver of the vehicle that was exiting the business was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.

Elgin Street East was blocked for approximately 30-minutes.
