Update – Northumberland OPP – Pedestrian Struck by Motor Vehicle

(ALNWICK / HALDIMAND, ON) – On July 1st, 2021, at approximately 12:56 p.m. members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), attended the scene of a collision involving a single motor vehicle that left the roadway and struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was airlifted by ORNGE to receive medical attention for major injuries.

OPP Central Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) attended the scene and conducted an investigation.

At this time, the investigation remains on going.
