Back to the Drawing Board for Rainbow Crosswalk in Cobourg

In News

Looks like it’s back to the drawing board for the Rainbow Crosswalk in Cobourg as the paint installed last week needed more time to stick.

A fresh coast of paint was installed on the Rainbow Crosswalk on Second Street beside Victoria Hall on May 27, 2021.

“Unfortunately the paint from the Rainbow Crosswalk needed a bit more time to adhere to the road and with that did not completely dry before vehicular traffic pulled it up,” said Communications officer for the Town of Cobourg, Ashley Purdy.

Purdy assures residents it wasn’t an intentional act and, “we will look at touching it up.”
