Port Hope Firefighters Respond to Trailer Fire in Welcome

Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services responded to a vehicle fire in Welcome on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. firefighters responded to County Road 10, just north of County Road 2 in Welcome for a dump truck and trailer on fire.

When crews arrived they discovered the fire was contained to the tire/brake area of the trailer.

County Road 10 was closed for approximately 30-minutes while crews extinguished the fire.
