Northumberland OPP Investigating Serious Motorcycle Collision

(TRENT HILLS, ON) – On Wednesday May 12, 2021 at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a serious motorcycle collision that occurred on County Rd 25 in the area of County Rd 24 in the municipality of Trent Hills.

The collision involved a motorcycle that left the roadway. The driver of the motorcycle suffered major injuries as a result of the collision. At this time police don’t believe any other vehicles were involved.

County Rd 25, between County Rd 24 and Concession Rd 4 will be closed for several hours while OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) continue the investigation.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
