Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Break and Enter

A man has been arrested for break and enter after being located inside a residence.


On the morning of Friday, April 30, 2021, police attended a vacant residence currently undergoing renovations
in the southwest end of Cobourg after video surveillance showed an individual inside the unoccupied home.
Police located a man inside the residence upon their arrival.


As a result of the police investigation, 42-year-old Mark Hendry of Cobourg is charged with the following
offences:

Break and Enter contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

Possession of Property obtained by Crime contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code

Possession of a Scheduled I Substance contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances
Act


Hendry was released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
