Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested for Impaired Operation – Drug Possession

Police arrested a woman for impaired operation and possession of a controlled substance after being called to
a local business in the Town of Cobourg.


On April 15, 2021, at 9:10 am, Cobourg Police were called to attend a business located in the Town of Cobourg
for a report of two people passed out in a vehicle.

Police located the vehicle that was parked and running with two occupants. The two individuals in the car
appeared to be unconscious.


Police woke up the vehicle occupants, and as a result of the subsequent investigation, 28-year-old Taylor
USBORNE of Omemee, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

Operation while impaired – Drug contrary to section 320.14 (1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada

Possession of a controlled substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance
Act
The accused was released from custody on an undertaking with a future court date.
