Cobourg Police – Two Men Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

On April 1, 2021, two men attended the Cobourg Police Station to turn themselves in to police on outstanding
arrest warrants. The men were arrested on the strength of the warrants.
As a result, 22-year-old Nandor BALAZS and 27-year-old Imre LAKATOS of Scarborough were arrested and
charged with the following offences:

Fail to Attend Court contrary to section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code

Theft Under $5000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code

Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code
Both were released on appearance notices with future court dates.
