City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service – Bank Robbery

On February 18, 2021 at 1:09pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a robbery call at a bank located on William Street in Lindsay. An unknown suspect entered the bank, approached a teller with a note indicating he had a gun and demanded cash. After receiving a quantity of cash, the suspect left the bank on foot in a westbound direction.

A forensics identification officer attended to collect physical evidence from the scene. The Criminal Investigation Branch has taken over the investigation and is asking anyone who may have information about the incident contact them at 705.324.5252.
