ATV Driver Airlifted To Toronto Trauma Centre Following Collision in Trent Hills

The driver of a atv was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre following a collision with a vehicle on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Trent Hills.

Emergency services responded to the collision on Concession 8, east of County Road 25 south of Hastings at approximately 3 p.m.

The collision occurred just after the crest of a hill. Northumberland OPP say the driver of the atv was plowing a driveway at the time of the collision.

The driver was taken by Northumberland County paramedics to Campbellford Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Toronto with what are described as serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Concession 8 was closed for several hours to allow OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators to document the scene.

The driver of the vehicle and passenger were not injured.
