Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested for Assault

A woman has been arrested for assault after an altercation between tenants.

On January 28, 2021, at 8:30 am, police responded to a report of an assault after an altercation between tenants at a residence. No injuries occurred as a result of the assault.

As a result of the police investigation, 32-year-old Megan Diminie of Cobourg is charged with:

1. Assault contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada

2. Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
