Nothing Beats A Frozen Lake For A Game of Shinny

In Local, Photo Gallery, Weather

Another beautiful sunset in Northumberland County.

With arenas being closed due to COVID-19 restrictions it seems this year there are more people skating the traditional way, on frozen ponds and lakes.

Just off Harwood on Rice Lake there were three skating areas that were being used by people.

In Cobourg, the only skating that was being done was on the outdoor rink, but the setting sun and the colourful Christmas lights still made a beautiful winter’s evening.
