Quinte West OPP – Blocking Neighbour In With Snow Results in Mischief Charge

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Quinte West resident following a neighbour dispute.

On January 2, 2021, Quinte West OPP responded to a residence on County Road 40, in the City of Quinte West. It was alleged that a neighbour deposited a large amount of snow on to the complainant’s driveway, blocking them in.

Ronald CLEMENT, 67 years old, of Quinte West was charged with one count of Mischief – Interfere with the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on February 4, 2021
