Cobourg Police – Investigation Leads to Fail to Remain and Dangerous Operation Charges

On the evening of Sunday, December 13, 2020, police were dispatched to the downtown core of the Town of Cobourg regarding a single-vehicle fail to remain accident, where Town of Cobourg property was damaged.

Through investigation, police were able to identify the accused as Joshua HALL, a 31-year-old male from the Town of Cobourg.

HALL was charged with the following offences:

1. Fail to Remain – Contrary to Section 200(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act

2. Dangerous Operation – Contrary to Section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was released on an undertaking and summons with a future court date.
