Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Drug Possession

On Thursday, November 12th, at 7:38 pm, officers on patrol in the east end of Cobourg observed a man known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with Niagara Regional Police Service.

As a result, police arrested 46-year-old Jack AUDENAERT of Castleton on the strength of the warrant. During the arrest, police located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
AUDENAERT was arrested and charged with the following offence:

1. Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The man was released on an undertaking with a court date in January.
